Frēda Salvador Opens New Store in New York’s SoHo: Timeless Footwear & Accessories
Frēda Salvador Opens New Store in New York City
Frēda Salvador is back in New York City. The California footwear brand, known for shoes and accessories, closed its stores during the pandemic in 2020. Co-founders Cristina Palomo Nelson and Megan Papay have now opened a new location on Mercer Street in SoHo.
This new store is their second location, complementary to their flagship store in San Francisco. That store opened last year. Another new store in Los Angeles is planned for April.
Megan Papay emphasizes the importance of community, stating, “We just want to see people in real life and get to know them.” The brand wants to reconnect with customers as they expand.
The New York store features handcrafted footwear made in Spain and El Salvador. It also offers handbags, belts, and a selection of vintage items and goods from admired artisans and designers.
The store has an open layout with white walls and vintage rugs, reflecting the coastal style from their headquarters in Sausalito, California. Custom shelves, rounded doorways, and a unique cashier stand enhance the shopping experience.
Popular styles at Frēda Salvador include Wallabees, loafers, Western boots, and ballet flats. The brand highlights its woven materials and offers water-resistant boots and metallic Mary Janes for the holiday season.
In addition to direct sales, Frēda Salvador sells products through wholesale partners like Goop, Revolve, and Moda Operandi.
The new Frēda Salvador store is located at 83 Mercer Street in New York City.
