Free Bus Services for Safe Schoolies Festival Celebrations at Victor Harbor
Free Bus Services for Schoolies Festival 2024
Free bus services will assist school leavers at this weekend’s Schoolies Festival. The State Government and Encounter Youth will provide safe transport options again this year at Victor Harbor.
Buses will depart from Adelaide Central Bus Station at 10am and 2pm on Friday, 22 November. They will stop at major accommodations from Encounter Bay to Port Elliot, allowing participants to travel without driving.
After arriving, ticket holders can use a free bus circuit running from Warland Reserve throughout the festival. This circuit covers five routes from Encounter Bay to Goolwa. Continuous shuttle services will run during festival hours, ensuring safe movement between the festival and accommodations. On Monday, buses will return students to Adelaide.
Drivers are reminded to be well-rested and take breaks. Provisional licence holders must not consume alcohol or drugs, drive high-powered vehicles, or exceed 100 km/h, even if local speed limits are higher.
Enjoy the festival and travel safely!
