Free Comic Book Day 2026 at The Secret Lair Comics

The Secret Lair Comics has announced it will host an event for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event is scheduled to run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The celebration will feature appearances by creator Ben Harvey and the Staunton Spider-Man, along with other mystery guests.

About Free Comic Book Day 2026

Free Comic Book Day is an annual event where comic book stores across the United States and Canada provide free comics to visitors. The event was originally established by California comics retailer Joe Field and has operated for 24 years.

The initiative is designed to introduce readers to new titles and upcoming specials from major publishers, including Marvel and DC. On average, over 2,000 participating stores in North America distribute more than five million comics annually.

For the 2026 iteration, Notice over 40 specially published free comics available. This year also introduces an unofficial sister event known as Comics Giveaway Day.
