Warnemünde’s 15th Sandwelt
From April 7th to 16th, international artists will craft impressive sand sculptures in Warnemünde. This year’s theme for the 15th sandwelt is “Secrets of the Seven Oceans.” Visitors can observe the artists at work at Karls Pier 7. the completed masterpieces will be on display free of charge at PassenGierkai 1 from April 17th to November 2nd.

Tour of the Lubmin Nuclear Power Plant
Located between Lubmin and the fishing village of Freest, the “Bruno Leuchner” nuclear power plant, decommissioned as 1999, offers guided tours of Block 6, wich never went into operation. These tours, available Monday through saturday, attract scientists and technology enthusiasts.
