“Family of Honour” Ticket Holders Receive Travel Benefits; Holiday Train Schedules Adjusted
Ticket Availability and Requirements
Tickets are available for use by all family members, including both parents and children. To obtain a ticket, individuals must present a valid “Family of Honor” certificate alongside a personal identification document or a student/school ID.
Passengers are required to carry these documents throughout the entire journey, not just at the time of purchase, according to reports from PV.
Holiday Train Schedule Changes
Due to the upcoming holidays, the regular train schedule has been modified. Trains traveling towards Tukum, Jelgava, Aizkraukle, and Skulte will operate on a working day schedule on Saturday, November 8, 2024. They will then revert to a holiday schedule on November 17 and 18, 2024.
Further schedule adjustments will be in effect on November 9, 16, 17, and 18, 2024, impacting trains serving Gulbene, madona, Daugavpils, and Sigulda. Passengers traveling to or from these destinations are advised to carefully review the updated train schedules.
