Milan, Italy – Residents of Milan’s historic center have a new reason to get moving thanks to a unique partnership between food delivery giant Deliveroo and the city’s Municipality 1. A brand-new,fully equipped outdoor fitness park has opened its doors in Parco delle Basiliche,offering a free and accessible workout space for everyone.
The park, a project spearheaded by Deliveroo Italy and brought to life by Skyfitness, boasts a dynamic circuit of bodyweight training equipment and outdoor fitness machines, effectively transforming a section of the park into a vibrant open-air gym.
“this space is designed for everyone,” explains a representative from Skyfitness.”We’ve included equipment suitable for all ages and abilities, including specialized machines for individuals with mobility impairments. A QR code at the entrance provides access to exercise tutorials and personalized workout recommendations.”
The initiative marks a special homecoming for Deliveroo,wich launched its services in Milan nine years ago and has since expanded to over 1,800 communities across Italy.
