This holiday season, Circle K is spreading warmth and cheer to the heroes who keep our communities safe. The convenience store chain announced it will be offering a complimentary hot beverage to all emergency service workers on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
On December 25th and 31st, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, healthcare workers, and all other first responders can stop by any Circle K location and enjoy a free hot drink of their choice.
“We are delighted to once again support our nation’s Emergency Services this Christmas,” said Ciara Foxton, managing director at Circle K. “This small gesture is a token of our recognition for the amazing work our Emergency Services provide to our communities nationwide, especially during the festive period.Their unwavering commitment to ensuring our safety deserves recognition and appreciation, especially during the holidays.”
The gesture is a welcome reminder of the sacrifices made by first responders, who often work long hours and miss out on holiday celebrations with their families. A simple cup of coffee or hot chocolate can go a long way in showing gratitude for their dedication and service.
Circle K’s Holiday Warmth for First Responders
Sarah: Hey Mark, did you hear about Circle K doing something nice for first responders this holiday season?
Mark: No, what’s that?
Sarah: They’re giving out free hot drinks to police, firefighters, EMTs, healthcare workers – basically anyone in emergency services – on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
Mark: That’s realy thoughtful. They work so hard, especially during the holidays when everyone else is celebrating.
Do they have to show any proof or anything?
Sarah: It says here you just have to be in uniform or show some sort of ID. Seems pretty straightforward.
Mark:I bet that small act of kindness can really brighten their day. Imagine being away from your family during the holidays, and then someone offers you a warm drink just to say thank you. It’s the little things.
Sarah: Exactly! It’s great that circle K is recognizing their sacrifices. Their managing director, Ciara foxton, saeid something really nice about how they wanted to show appreciation for the “amazing work our Emergency Services provide” throughout the year, and especially during the holidays.
Mark: It’s nice to see companies giving back and supporting those who keep us safe. I’ll definitely remember that next time I need a coffee run!
Sarah: ** Me too! Maybe we should grab a hot chocolate ourselves and toast to the first responders.
