The match is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the “Kingdom Arena” stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Al-Ahly, the 2023–2024 African Champions League title holders, will face off against Zamalek, the winners of the African Confederation Cup title.

Pre-Match Preparations
Sami Kamsar, general coach of Al-Ahly Club’s first football team, and Samir Adli, managing director, welcomed the team’s delegation to Riyadh airport. Sami Kamis had arrived in Riyadh 24 hours earlier to prepare the team’s accommodations, training ground, and transportation.
Al-Ahly held its last training session at Al-Jazeera’s Mokhtar Al-Touch Stadium before departing for Riyadh. The team’s delegation is led by Al-Ahly Club Board of Directors member Mohammad Al-Ghazawi.
Zamalek’s Preparations
Hussein Labib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, attended the team’s first training session at Al-Shabaab Club in Riyadh. The session was also attended by club vice-presidents Hisham Nasr, Ahmed Suleiman, Ahmed Khaled Hassanin, and board of directors member Rami Nasohi.
Zamalek’s Portuguese coach, José Gómez, emphasized his confidence in the players and urged them to continue training and working seriously in preparation for the match.
