Wrestling legend Dave Bautista has made headlines with his remarkable weight loss journey, shedding nearly a quarter of his body weight.
According to Spanish newspaper “Marca”, Bautista’s weight dropped from 143 kilograms to 109 kilograms in just a year and a half, a staggering loss of 34 kilograms.
The 55-year-old wrestling icon, known for his intense matches in the WWE, has been flaunting his new look in recent public appearances, including a screening of “The Last Showgirl” at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Bautista, who previously weighed 132 kilograms during his wrestling days and peaked at 170 kilograms at some point in his career, has been open about his weight loss struggles.
Speaking on the sidelines of the TIFF, Bautista revealed, “This is when I lost my weight since I was 19… now I weigh around 109 kilograms”.
He added, “A year and a half ago, I weighed 143 kilograms, and this is where the nightmare began. Losing all this weight was difficult.”
