From Renewed for Fifth and Final Season at MGM+

MGM+ has renewed the sci-fi horror series From for a fifth and final season, confirming that the story of the nightmarish town will reach its conclusion. The announcement on April 15, 2026, comes shortly before the premiere of the fourth season, which is scheduled for April 19, 2026.

Production for the fifth season is slated to begin later in 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The network expects the final season to premiere in 2027.

Creative Vision for the Series Finale

The series creator John Griffin, showrunner Jeff Pinkner, and director Jack Bender released a joint statement regarding the renewal and the trajectory of the narrative.

We are wildly excited to announce that we’ve officially begun work on season 5. Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between.
