Young Girl Overcomes Scoliosis Without Surgery

Meet Melis Ada Baş, a 10-year-old girl from Antalya ⁣who was ​diagnosed with Scoliosis, also known as Curvature of the Spine. Despite the challenges that come with this condition, ​Melis‍ was able to regain her health without undergoing surgical treatment.

At the hospital she attended, doctors discovered that⁢ by placing a 1.5 cm high book under her left⁢ foot, Melis’s scoliosis could be ⁣corrected. This‌ simple yet effective solution was later replaced⁣ with 1.5 cm high⁣ insoles that she wore in her slippers or​ shoes.

Melis‍ was overjoyed‍ with the ⁣results and expressed her gratitude⁣ for the ​treatment. She shared her experience, saying, “My ‍parents always‌ reminded me to stand up straight, ⁤but when my teacher started telling⁤ me the same thing, I knew ⁣I had to do something. I told​ my parents, and we went to⁤ see the doctor. I was really struggling, but now​ I’m used to wearing ⁤the insoles, and ⁣I feel great.”
