Service Stations in Aragua Limit Payment Options
By Fernando Hernandez
Drivers from the municipalities of Girardot and Mario Briceño Iragorry, in the state of Aragua, report that some service stations are limiting payment options, only accepting cash and foreign currency. According to the complainants, service stations claim that their point-of-sale systems are damaged or that they do not have a biocharge, forcing customers to pay in cash.
Raúl Oropeza emphasized that it is the duty of every business to offer convenient payment methods, allowing customers to pay quickly and easily. Consumers are calling for a “surprise inspection” by PDVSA at the service stations to correct this issue and impose corresponding sanctions.
