Stabbing Attack at Fukuoka Library Leaves Three Injured, Man Arrested

He reportedly lay in wait near a staff-only parking area frequented by HKT48 members, and stabbed a 44-year-old staff member when asked to leave the area. Yamaguchi had purchased three knives in the days leading up to the attack.

While authorities have not yet established a connection between the two Fukuoka stabbing incidents, the proximity in time and location will likely be a focus of investigation. The Independent reported that both victims of the December 15th attack sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
