The Emperor’s Cup 50th Anniversary Wheelchair Basketball Championship will take place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) from January 31st (Friday) to February 2nd (Sunday), 2025. This prestigious tournament determines the best wheelchair basketball club in Japan and is an honorable event that has been awarded the Emperor’s Cup. The 50th-anniversary milestone makes this tournament especially commemorative. A total of 16 teams will participate after winning the first qualifying round held in 10 blocks nationwide and the second qualifying round held in eastern and western Japan.
