Meizhou-Longchuan High-Speed Railway Now Open for Service

September 14, 2024, marked the official opening of the Meizhou-Longchuan Phase high-speed railway of the Longyan-Longchuan Railway.
The new railway is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Meizhou and major cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen, from five hours to just under two hours.
This development is set to boost the growth of Longyan, enabling it to join the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at a faster pace.
