The Funded Trader initially revealed its plans to integrate the cTrader platform last year, outlining a detailed migration process for its users. The company said the transition, impacting roughly 4,700 traders, was necessary to upgrade its system and provide enhanced trading features.
The platform shift also came in response to evolving regulations from MetaQuotes, prompting other firms to explore alternatives like DXTrade.The Funded Trader said that adopting cTrader allows it to maintain operations while adhering to new regulatory standards.
The Funded Trader also experienced a temporary suspension of trading activities for internal restructuring and regulatory compliance. CEO angelo Ciaramello has since emphasized improved communication and transparency to rebuild trust with its user base.
