On November 6, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Shizhong District, Jinan City, Shandong Province issued a notice regarding an incident where “a woman reported that a staff member of the Market Supervision Office left an abusive message because she missed a call.”
The report stated that after investigation, the two individuals reported by netizens were staff members of the Weijiazhuang Market Supervision Office of the Shizhong District Market Supervision Bureau of Jinan City. According to relevant regulations, two staff members were suspended; the director of the Weijiazhuang Market Supervision Office was transferred from his job; and ordered to apologize to consumers.
Previously reported: On November 5, a woman in Jinan, Shandong Province posted a video saying she was scolded by a caller from the Municipal Supervision Bureau. The woman said that she bought a second-hand iPad a few days ago and after calling 12315 to complain to the Municipal Supervisory Office, she did not pay attention to the staff’s call back because the platform had completed the priority processing and her phone was muted during the day.
Later, it was discovered that there were 4 missed calls and 2 voice messages. The system transferred to the voicemail function and recorded the other party’s conversation. In the recording, one person said: “Take care of her. She won’t answer the phone.” Another person responded and said, “She’s a piece of shit.”
