According to CoinDesk, Galaxy Digital, a financial services company specializing in cryptocurrency, announced in its third quarter earnings report that it had signed a contract with an unnamed American hyperscaler company and decided to allocate 800 MW of power capacity to high-performance computing (HPC) hosting. The company is known as a large-scale data center that specializes in providing large amounts of computing power.
