Paul Gallagher, brother of Oasis ⁢legends​ Liam⁢ and Noel Gallagher, has cancelled a⁢ planned ‌DJ set in Dublin ahead of his upcoming court appearance. The set,⁤ scheduled at The‌ Grand Social to coincide with the band’s reunion ‌tour ⁤performances,‍ has been removed‍ from⁢ the venue’s schedule.

Allegations ‌and ​Court Date

the cancellation follows⁢ serious allegations⁣ made against Gallagher, 59,⁣ by London‘s⁢ Metropolitan Police in ​July. He has ⁣been charged with⁣ rape, coercive and controlling behavior, three counts of sexual‍ assault, three counts of ⁢intentional ‌strangulation, ​two counts of making a threat to kill,​ and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The alleged offences reportedly took place ‍between 2022 ‌and 2024.

Gallagher is due to appear at Westminster‌ Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 27th.

Venue Confirms Change in DJ Lineup

A ‍spokesperson for The Grand Social confirmed the change, stating that Paul Gallagher ​”will no longer be DJing at our Oasis ⁤after-party.”​ The ⁣venue has swiftly moved​ to secure ‌replacement DJs, ‍announcing that Mani from The Stone⁤ Roses will⁤ perform⁢ on Saturday night, and Creation⁤ Records ‍founder Alan McGee will​ take to⁤ the decks on Sunday.

Oasis Reunion Tour​ Continues

The news comes as⁣ Liam and⁣ Noel Gallagher continue their ⁣highly⁣ anticipated Oasis Live ’25 tour, marking their first performances together ⁤as the band’s acrimonious split in 2009.‍ The tour kicked off in July ‌at Cardiff‘s Principality Stadium, followed by dates in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.
