Game-Changing Upgrade: New National Standards to Revolutionize School Sports Venues This July
New National Standards for Primary and Secondary School Sports Venues
Three new national standards for primary and secondary school sports venues will be implemented to promote the construction and improvement of campus sports facilities.
The National Standards Committee has announced the implementation of three new national standards for primary and secondary school sports venues. The standards, “Synthetic Material Surface Track and Field Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools”, “Synthetic Material Surface Basketball Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools”, and “Artificial Grass Surface Football Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools”, came into effect on July 1.
These standards provide detailed requirements and test methods for the foundation, appearance, paving, specifications, marking lines, flatness, physical and mechanical properties of track and field, basketball fields, and artificial turf surface football fields in primary and secondary schools. They also outline the sampling, inspection rules, and maintenance requirements for the fields.
The implementation of these standards will provide technical support for the construction, renovation, and expansion of primary and secondary school sports venues. This will help standardize and improve the construction quality of these venues, promoting the development of campus sports facilities and providing a solid foundation for youth sports.
