To proactively address potential food⁢ poisoning risks,the district ‌conducted inspections of school adn kindergarten meal programs for⁤ three weeks.

A joint inspection team, comprised of officials from Gangdong-gu, the⁤ Gangdong Songpa Education Support Office, and‍ consumer food sanitation‍ supervisors,⁣ assessed the general⁢ hygiene ‌conditions of 46 out of 86 schools and kindergartens providing group meals.

the primary⁢ focus of the inspections included sanitation management, food material handling, facility maintenance, proper food handling ‍techniques, and appropriate preservation ‌storage.

With warmer temperatures increasing the risk of foodborne illnesses such as norovirus,⁢ the inspections emphasized strengthening food safety management. Key areas of focus⁢ included proper hand-washing⁤ practices and adherence to six critical rules for preventing‍ food poisoning: hand washing, thorough cooking, boiling, cleaning, disinfection, and maintaining appropriate storage temperatures.
