Gannon Women’s Swimming Dominates Day 2 of Malone Invitational
The Gannon women’s swimming team has strengthened its lead at the Malone Invitational. The event is taking place at C.T. Branin Natatorium.
As of Friday, the Golden Knights have accumulated 1,120 points. Oberlin is in second place with 654 points, while Baldwin Wallace is third with 493 points.
Head Coach Milan Medo observed six first-place finishes by his team on Friday night.
First Place Finishers:
- 200 Medley Relay: Bella Kling, Chinyere Mgbemena, Hannah Jacobs, Alex Pannemann – 1:48.12
- 200 Freestyle (A – Final): Roaa Farag – 1:53.36
- 100 Butterfly (A – Final): Hannah Jacobs – 57.59
- 100 Backstroke (A – Final): Juliana Romero Castro – 59.44
- 800 Freestyle Relay: Isabella Dietz, Madalyn Myers, Chenay Date Line, Roaa Farag – 7:54.90
- 400 IM (A – Final): Emily Hedges – 4:41.50
The invitational will conclude on Saturday.
