His illustrious playing career, most notably with Milan⁢ where he secured ⁣two Serie A titles and two Champions league wins over 13 years, paved the way for his ‍transition into management in 2013.

His‍ longest tenure at any club was two seasons with Pisa, then in Italy’s third tier. ‍Gattuso achieved promotion to Serie B in his first season in August 2015. However, after finishing at the bottom of Serie B the following season, gattuso resigned.

This marked the second time Gattuso resigned from a club. He previously resigned from Greek side OFI Crete. In May 2021, Gattuso agreed to coach‍ Serie A side Fiorentina, starting July 1. But just two⁢ weeks before his contract began,Gattuso and Fiorentina mutually ended the ⁤agreement on June 17.
