Great Britain’s men’s gymnastics team delivered a stellar performance at the European Gymnastics Championship in Leipzig,Germany,securing the team gold. The British squad, featuring Olympic medalists Jake Jarman and Harry Hepworth, alongside Luke Whitehouse, Jonas Rushworth, and Jamie Lewis, achieved a combined score of 247.528 points.
This remarkable total allowed them to surpass Switzerland and Italy, earning Great Britain its first gold in the event as 2022. The victory highlights the team’s strength and depth in men’s gymnastics, showcasing their prowess on the European stage.
The team event also serves as a qualifier for the men’s all-around and apparatus finals. The mixed team final is scheduled for Wednesday.
