NVIDIA has updated its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service to include single sign-on (SSO) integration for Gaijin Entertainment accounts, reducing the number of authentication steps required to launch supported titles. The update, announced on May 7, 2026, allows users to link their Gaijin.net accounts directly to the GeForce NOW platform to eliminate repeated login prompts.
The implementation of Gaijin account linking is part of a broader effort by NVIDIA to streamline the transition between the cloud launcher and the game client. By utilizing SSO, members can connect their accounts through the GeForce NOW application on PC or Mac via the Connections
section within the settings menu.
Once the accounts are linked, titles such as the combined-arms combat simulator War Thunder can be streamed without requiring the user to enter credentials each time the session starts. This integration mirrors existing platform-linking features GeForce NOW provides for other major ecosystems, including Xbox and Ubisoft Connect, allowing PC-based libraries to function seamlessly across different devices.
Hardware Performance and the RTX 5080 Tier
Alongside the authentication updates, NVIDIA has expanded the availability of its high-end hardware acceleration. Ultimate members now have access to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 performance across nearly the entire GeForce NOW library.

This performance tier applies to both Ready-to-Play
titles, which are pre-installed on the cloud servers, and Install-to-Play
titles, where the user manages the installation process. The integration of the RTX 5080 aims to provide higher fidelity and more stable frame rates for demanding titles streaming through the cloud.
Expanded Game Library
Between May 5 and May 7, 2026, NVIDIA added seven new titles to the GeForce NOW streaming service. These additions are compatible with the RTX 5080 performance tier for Ultimate members.
Among the new releases is Dead as Disco, developed by Brain Jar Games. Released on Steam on May 5, 2026, the title is a rhythm-infused brawler that requires players to synchronize combat actions, including punches and dodges, with the beat of the music.
The other titles added to the service during this period include:
- HUNTDOWN: OVERTIME (Released on Steam May 7, 2026)
- Nuclear Option (Steam)
- Sintopia (Steam)
- Kiln (Steam and Xbox via Game Pass)
- Hotel Architect (Steam)
- PowerWash Simulator 2 (Xbox via Game Pass)
The inclusion of titles from both Steam and Xbox Game Pass highlights the service’s role as a cross-platform aggregator, allowing users to access games from different digital storefronts through a single cloud interface.
The move toward deeper account integration and higher hardware specifications reflects the ongoing technical shift in cloud gaming toward reducing latency—both in terms of network response and user interface friction. By removing the need for manual password entry through SSO and increasing the available GPU power, the service attempts to closer mimic the experience of native local hardware.
