Strategic Partnership with UC San Diego Health

GE Healthcare (GEHC) ⁤and University of California (UC)⁣ San⁣ Diego Health have initiated ⁤a complete strategic collaboration designed⁢ to integrate advanced medical​ imaging technologies throughout the UC⁤ San diego Health system. The partnership aims to improve patient outcomes and enhance connectivity across various clinical functions by leveraging emerging modalities like theranostics‌ and artificial intelligence (AI).

Beyond technology ​implementation, GE healthcare will provide essential technical service support, including​ clinician education and a preventative maintenance model for connected equipment, ensuring​ sustained operational efficiency.

New Imaging Technologies Deployed

The collaboration will see ​the implementation of several key GE Healthcare imaging products, including the StarGuide SPECT/CT system, Smart​ Subscription for CT, and the Signa Continuum program for Magnetic Resonance ⁢(MR) imaging. ⁢These technologies are expected to streamline workflows and improve diagnostic capabilities.

AI-Enhanced Point-of-Care Ultrasound Systems

GE ‍Healthcare has also recently​ launched its latest generation of AI-enabled Venue family point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) systems. These new⁤ tools are available across the ⁣entire Venue portfolio -⁤ Venue, Venue Go, Venue Fit, and Venue Sprint – and are designed to simplify complex examinations and improve assessment accuracy.

Auto Bladder Volume Tool

A key feature is the Auto Bladder Volume tool, which automates urinary ⁤bladder volume measurement using just two views. This functionality is also available on‌ the wireless Vscan Air CL⁤ probe, expanding accessibility for clinicians.

The company⁣ states that these AI-driven enhancements are intended to support clinicians of all experience levels, fostering confidence in their assessments and ultimately improving ⁣patient care.
