General Mobile Returns with GM Fenix II Pro 5G & GM 26 Pro 5G
General Mobile has re-entered the smartphone market with two new devices: the GM 26 Pro 5G and the GM Fenix II Pro 5G. Both phones feature a unique dual-screen design, running on Android 15 and incorporating the company’s new GM AI suite. The GM 26 Pro 5G is positioned as a value-focused option, while the Fenix II Pro 5G aims for a more premium experience.
Dual-Screen Design and Functionality
The defining feature of both the GM 26 Pro 5G and Fenix II Pro 5G is the secondary display on the rear panel. This 6.2-inch LCD screen transforms the phone into a mini-tablet when flipped, allowing users to run two apps simultaneously without the need for a foldable design. The GM 26 Pro 5G specifically utilizes this rear display to show information like time, step counts, notifications, and even functions as a viewfinder for selfies using the main camera. This approach offers a distinct alternative to foldable phones, providing a dual-screen experience focused on productivity and multitasking.
GM 26 Pro 5G: A Value Proposition
The GM 26 Pro 5G is available starting at 24,999 TL (Turkish Lira) and features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support provides power, and the device is rated IPX4 for splash resistance and IP5X for dust resistance. It also includes 5G and NFC connectivity.
Notably, the GM 26 Pro 5G is remarkably thin at 7.55mm and weighs only 182 grams. The rear camera is accompanied by a 1.6-inch secondary display offering various functionalities beyond aesthetics.
GM Fenix II Pro 5G: Premium Performance

GM AI Suite: On-Device Intelligence
Both the GM 26 Pro 5G and Fenix II Pro 5G incorporate General Mobile’s GM AI suite, which runs on-device machine learning models. This AI is designed to learn user habits and provide intelligent assistance. Features include suggesting optimal camera modes, auto-filling replies in messaging apps, and providing smarter predictive text across the system. The GM AI suite also includes a photo editor capable of transforming sketches into artwork and expanding images without losing composition, a text editor for refining written content, and a call summary feature that transcribes and summarizes phone conversations.
The “GM AI Team” feature provides access to AI specialists in various fields, including astrology, language learning (English, Chinese), mathematics, Turkish cuisine, and name suggestions, offering a personalized AI experience.
