Georg Ohrenberger took the helm on October 2, 2026, stepping into the role of head of the garage, gas station, and service enterprise trade group within the WKOÖ. He succeeds Harald Ebner, who guided the organization through a decade of industry evolution. Ohrenberger enters the position backed by more than three decades of self-employed experience spanning vehicle detailing, retail fuel, and automated car washes across Upper Austria and Salzburg.

Building a Regional Footprint From Linz to Salzburg

Ohrenberger’s career in the sector began in 1989 as an independent provider of professional vehicle preparation services for car dealerships. Over the following years, he scaled that operation across Upper Austria and Salzburg before transitioning into retail fuel management. Today, his business operations include two gas stations in Linz and Marchtrenk. In 2015, he expanded his commercial footprint further by launching Magic Wash, a brand of automated car wash centers operating in those same two cities.
