Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights for “George A. Romero’s Resident Evil” in the US and Canada. This documentary, directed and co-written by Brandon Salisbury, explores Romero’s unrealized film adaptation of the popular video game series.
The documentary revisits 1998 when Constantin Film aimed to make a Resident Evil movie with Romero’s help. It will feature archival footage and interviews with people involved in the unmade film, detailing why it never came to fruition.
