Georgia Korean Bar Association ’12th Anniversary Gala’
The Georgia Korean Bar Association held its 12th Anniversary Gala Dinner at The 3120 in Norcross on the 28th.
About 100 members of the Bar Association attended the event and enjoyed fellowship. Attorney Lee Jeong-wook, who is the president of the association, said, “I am proud that there are Korean lawyers in almost every field,” and added that he will continue to focus on mentoring programs.
The association’s mentoring program allows law school students or recent law school graduates to receive career advice. In fact, many law school students attended the event and had time to communicate with senior lawyers.
At the event, Gwinnett County Juvenile Court Judge Donald Lee gave the keynote speech and advised young Korean-American lawyers to persevere and take on challenges.
Bar Association executives gathered together after the gala dinner.
