Gerard Majella (jella) Convey,of 18 Coolnagard Grove,omagh,passed away on August 24,2025. He is remembered as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Family and Legacy
Mr. Convey is survived by his wife, Jackie (McGlade); his children, Shareen (Emmett McNamee), Michael, Sarah, and Cahal; and his cherished grandchildren, Conan and Kaiden. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim, Tony, Charlie, Frank, Pat, Tommy, Christopher (Gusty), and Martin, as well as his sisters, Dorothy, Teresa, Christine, Celine, and Tina. He was predeceased by his siblings, Eddie and Esther.
Funeral Arrangements
Mr. Convey will be reposing at his late residence on sunday and Monday. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Sacred Heart Church, with interment following in st. Mary’s Cemetery, Drumragh. the service can be viewed online via the Drumragh Parish webcam.
Family time will be observed on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only are requested, with donations, if desired, to Care for Cancer c/o Maguire Funeral Directors.
