Germany has been selected to host teh UEFA Women’s Euro 2029, as announced by UEFA.

- Germany won the bid over competing proposals from poland and a joint bid from Denmark and Sweden.
- The tournament, featuring 16 teams, will be held in the summer of 2029 across eight venues: Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, and Wolfsburg.
Bidding Process and Results
Germany secured the hosting rights with a decisive 15 votes from UEFA’s executive committee. Denmark and Sweden received two votes, while Poland garnered none.
This will be the third time Germany has hosted the UEFA Women’s Euro, previously hosting in 2001 and as west Germany in 1989. Notably, Germany won the tournament in both prior instances.
Initially, portugal and Italy also submitted bids to host Euro 2029, but they withdrew to concentrate their efforts on co-hosting bids for the 2032 Men’s Euro and the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
