Damak Football Team Secures Dominant Win Over Al-Akhdud in Saudi Roshan League

The Damak football team solidified its position in the professional league with a resounding 3-1 victory over Al-Akhdud in their recent match at the Khamis Mushait stadium.

This encounter marked the third meeting between the two teams in the professional league. In their previous matches, Damak emerged victorious, winning 2-0 in the first round of last season and 2-1 in the second round.

The first half of the match saw Damak take a commanding lead, with Al-Akhdoud player Hussain Al-Zabadani scoring an own goal in the 6th minute. Cameroonian George Nkoudu further extended Damak’s lead with two goals in the 12th and 28th minutes.

In the second half, Zimbabwean Knowledge Musona scored Al-Akhdoud’s first goal in the 73rd minute, narrowing the gap for the visiting team. However, Damak’s lead proved insurmountable, securing their first 3 points in the league this season.

The win propelled Damak to tenth place in the league standings with 3 points, while Al-Akhdoud remains at the bottom with no points.

Looking ahead to the next round, Damak will face Al-Ahly on September 20, while Al-Akhdoud will take on Al-Qadisiya on September 19.
