iPhone 17‌ Series: What ‍to Expect from the Latest Rumors

Recent ⁢rumors from Ross Young⁣ of Display ⁣Supply Chain ‌Consultants have sparked excitement among Apple fans. The latest speculation suggests that ⁣the iPhone 17 Series will receive significant display upgrades next year. Here’s what we ⁣know so far.

iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim: 120Hz Displays on the Horizon

After⁢ years of limiting high ⁢refresh rate screens to Pro models, the iPhone‌ 17⁤ is‍ expected to feature a 120Hz⁢ LTPO OLED screen. This technology allows ⁢the refresh rate to adjust down ⁢to ⁣1Hz, helping to conserve power. The⁤ iPhone 17 Slim, which‌ replaces the iPhone 16 ⁣Plus, will also ‍boast a 120Hz LTPO screen.

Under-Display Face⁢ ID: Not‌ Coming to iPhone 17 Pro Just⁢ Yet

Previous rumors ⁤hinted at the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 ‌Pro Max featuring under-display Face ID. However, Ross Young has since deleted the post, casting doubt on the feature’s inclusion. It’s now expected that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone⁣ 17 ⁤Pro Max will not‌ use ⁣under-display Face ID.

While this news may come as a disappointment to some, it’s essential to remember that‍ these are just rumors. We’ll ‍have to wait for an official announcement from Apple to confirm the details.
