New MapleStory Celebrates 19th Anniversary with Exciting Events
The popular MMORPG ”New MapleStory” has announced the start of its 19th anniversary celebration event, “Maple19 Memory Island.” The event features a range of exciting activities, including the launch of the Boss Shue Remaster and a new difficulty level, “Ultimate Mode.”
Exclusive Co-Branded Content with White Rotten Cat
The official “New MapleStory” team has partnered with “White Rotten Cat” to launch exclusive co-branded content for the Taiwan version. This includes a new event plot, a limited event ”White Rotten Cat’s Part-Time Work Calendar,” and additional previews of unreleased props such as “The Fish on the Head” and ”I’m Just a Salted Fish Cloak.”
Classic Maps and Nostalgic Memories
Celebrating the 19th anniversary of “New MapleStory,” the “Maple19 Memories Island” series of maps allows players to enter classic maps and relive warm memories. The series includes:
- 2023 “Maple Tree”: Meet Reese and Ellie, who were raised by players themselves
- 2019 “MapleStory 14th Street”: An exclusive theme store that recalls previous name changes
- 2015 “10th Anniversary Celebration Venue”: Chat with Scholar Gugubaobao and learn gossip about Monsters in the Maple Nest
- 2009 “Maple Hill”: Come under the maple leaf to remember the original starting point
Retro Dungeons and Gameplay Mechanics
This update reproduces the “Retro Dungeon” and “Retro Altar of Fire Demon” dungeons, reproducing the old interface, BOSS, and gameplay mechanics. Players can relive the memories of teaming up to fight against the King.
Shi Wu Remaster and Ultimate Mode
The powerful BOSS Shi Wu has been recreated in this version, with a super handsome appearance and special offensive moves. A new difficulty level, “Ultimate Mode,” has also been opened.
Exclusive Event Illustration IP and Limited Props
The official preview version of exclusive event illustration IP “White Rotten Cat” will be displayed from September 18 to October 15. Players can enjoy the new plot of White Rotten Cat, as well as limited props such as “The Fish on the Head” and “I’ll just cloak a salted fish.”
Joint Limited Event and Hidden Boxes
The joint limited event “White Rotten Cat’s Part-Time Work Calendar” is running simultaneously. Players can complete tasks to receive limited commemorative props such as “White Rotten Cat Title” and “Birokan Cat Chat Sticker.” There is also the task of “finding hidden boxes” within the level range, where monsters can find “boxes” containing the gift of the White Rotten Cat.
