Palworld to Make a Big Splash at Tokyo Game Show 2024
Palworld, the popular monster-raising, open-world survival and crafting game, will be making a big appearance at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. The game’s developer and distributor, Pocket Pair Co., Ltd., will be holding a demo corner for the PlayStation 5 version of the game, as well as a photo spot, a merchandise corner, and mascot greetings.
The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is the largest gaming festival in Japan, and this year’s event will be held for four days from Thursday, September 26th to Sunday, September 29th, utilizing the entire Makuhari Messe building.
Meet the Official Cosplayers and Mascots
Six official cosplayers, including Hisaka Rosiel, will be appearing at the Palworld booth, dressed as characters from the game. There will also be a life-size photo spot of Jedran, a creature that appears in the game, as well as merchandise for sale such as stuffed toys, original clear files, and badges.
Experience the Game at the Demo Corner
Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to experience the game at the demo corner, and stickers will be distributed to participants who take part in the events at the booth and the demo corner.

However, the game has also been surrounded by controversy, with the design of Pal, a creature that appears in the game, being accused of resembling the Pokémon in the Pokémon series. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pocket Pair.
Release Date for PlayStation 5
Sales for the PlayStation 5 version of the game will begin on September 25th in 68 countries and regions around the world. However, the release date in Japan has not yet been decided.
