4th Goheung Citron Festival Promotional Event Receives Great Response
Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced on the 31st that a ‘pop-up show’ to promote the 4th Goheung Citron Festival in advance is being held with great response.
The event, which took place at Suncheon National University’s Open Plaza, featured a ‘Life Four Cuts’ booth where citizens and students enjoyed free photo opportunities along with busking performances.
Tourist souvenirs such as citron festival balloons, snowballs, stickers, magnets, and post-it notes were also provided to visitors, further increasing interest in the festival.
The event will be held again at Yeosu City Marine Park from 4 p.m. on November 1, with the same content.
A military official expressed their happiness in being able to share the charm of the Goheung Yuzu Festival with more people through this pop-up show. They added, “In November, Goheung will be held under the theme of ‘Vitamin C Yujatopia’, and a variety of premium Goheung Yuzu will be held at the Yuja Festival. We hope you enjoy the food, things to see, and experiences.”
The 4th Goheung Citron Festival is scheduled to present a variety of programs and entertainment centered on yuzu, a specialty of Goheung, from November 7th to 10th.
