National Emergency Response Drill 2024: Medellín’s Participation
On October 2, the District of Medellín, through the Disaster Risk Management Administrative Department (DAGRD), will participate in the National Emergency Response Drill 2024, convened by the National Disaster Risk Management Unit (UNGRD).
The primary objective of this exercise is to review the installed capacity, enhance planning, coordination, and communication between entities, and provide an effective response to events triggered by various threatening phenomena.
In Medellín, the drill will simulate an earthquake scenario, where all necessary preparations will be made to ensure a swift and efficient response.
Participating in the Drill
Individuals interested in participating in this exercise can register until September 30 by filling out the registration form or by scanning the QR code published on DAGRD Medellín’s social networks.
