Ubisoft announced the official release of the next-generation digital game “Monopoly”, a classic board game, today.

Ten years after the launch of “Monopoly Plus”, the new digital game “Monopoly” offers better graphics and more interesting gameplay, bringing a dynamic 3D city back to the world and offers players a more vivid board game experience.
As players move around the board, they can take in views of the neighborhood and see the weather change from sunny mornings to stormy nights. Explore every corner of the city to discover hidden tokens and watch out for Mr. Monopoly who may be hiding in plain sight!

Eugene Evans, senior vice president of digital strategy and licensing for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, said: “Monopoly will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2025 and we are very excited to work with Ubisoft to launch a new version of this classic game. This new digital game will bring neighborhoods and locations to life on the game board in an unprecedented way, offering players an unprecedented immersive experience.

The Monopoly digital game allows players to enjoy an authentic board game experience with family and friends. Up to six people can play together in your living room, or you can go online to compete with experts from around the world.

Players can customize their Monopoly experience by choosing the appearance of the dice and chess pieces or by creating custom rule sets. The digital game “Monopoly” offers a variety of features that allow players to plan their gaming experience, including “Quick Mode” that forces players to change their strategies and “Quick Mode” that speeds up the progress of the game and reduces dice playing time.
