Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the DWMT festival in Conac, organized by DIUD in collaboration with POINT, on 7 and 8 September 2024. The Udriște-Năstuel mansion will come alive with a unique blend of live music, contemporary art, thought-provoking debates, and delectable culinary experiences.
Main Stage Lineup
On Saturday, September 7, the Main Stage will feature an exciting lineup of artists, including Kerala Dust, Satoshi, Dora Gaitanovici, HVNDS (Lite), Delta Pe Obraz, Prima Dragoste, Simona Delegeanu, and Hardplay (warm-up).
Sunday, September 8, will see Om La Luna, acoustic Mihail, Kadjavsi, Dimitri’s Bats, The Kryptonite Sparks, Alex Purje & Mindthegap Trio, Musspell, and Paul Tihan & Andra Andriucă take the stage.
Forest Stage Lineup
The Forest Stage will host an impressive lineup of artists, including Anna Hauss, Krysopher, Elven Bird, and a surprise act on Saturday. On Sunday, Diana Căldăraru, Jazz Quarters Trio, and Luna Maar will perform.
Arcades DJ Booth Lineup
Dragoș Petrișor will keep the atmosphere going on Saturday, while AIM + WALL will take over the Arcades DJ Booth for a festival closing set on Sunday.
Textural Stage Lineup
The Textural stage will feature Bălan & Neon Cola and Sian Brie.
Women in Music Romania Panel Discussions
The collaboration with Women in Music Romania continues with daily panel discussions on relevant topics, such as “Public perception and opportunities in art” and “Creative Courage – how artists turn fear into impact,” with industry guests and moderators.
On Saturday, the Forest Stage will discuss public perception and opportunities in the arts, featuring Alex Coțofană (Marketing Manager Global Records), Alina Bălan (PR Global Records), Ovidiu Saracan (musician), and Andra Rotariu (Artist Manager).
On Sunday, the same stage will tackle the theme of creative courage, exploring how artists transform fear into impact, with interventions by Ileana Sebe (Managing Director of Next Advertising), Doru Pușcașu (leader of the band Om La Luna), Heracleea Lateș (Architect), and Cristina Oltean (Head of Digital Women in Music Romania).
Visual Arts
Alongside the music, the festival will celebrate the visual arts through the exhibition “We Lived Good Lives,” curated by Medina Pop. The exhibition invites the public to explore deep themes related to life and memory through the works of over 20 Romanian artists.
Among the participating artists are Nadina Stoica, Vlad Nancă, Sergiu Chihaia, Ioana Aron, Lucian Hrisav, Traian Cherecheș, Luca Florian, Andreea Badea, Ileana Sebe, Alexandru Ranga, and Mircea Barac, each contributing to a collective story about identity and memory.
Food and Drink
The festival’s food and drink area brings together a selection of quality local businesses. POINT offers a selection of cocktails and drinks, while NOUA BAR, Arrosticini, Arepas Colombianas, Mori.colive de viata, Grain Trip, and Menyn provide a variety of flavors.
Getting In and Ticket Information
The festival opens every day from 14:00 and ends at 02:00. A dedicated car park is provided, but alternative transport on special buses is recommended. Tickets can be purchased from https://tickets.dwmt.ro/ and then validated on dwmt.ro/transport.
Family-Friendly Activities
For children, there is an interactive play area with recycling and sustainability activities, workshops offered by Nature Talks & McDonald’s, and creative games such as Imagination Playground with oversized cubes.
Adults can explore a shop with design and lifestyle products curated by Sânziana Pop, featuring local brands such as The Edit, Mare Le Store, Ototo, Mottom, Peppermint, and Inside Home.
