Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 Earphones: A Long-Awaited Upgrade

Beats‌ is‌ set to release the Powerbeats Pro 2 ​earphones in 2025, marking a significant ‌hardware upgrade since the original model’s launch in 2019.

The upcoming earphones were⁣ teased in a trailer ⁤featuring baseball star Shohei Ohtani, showcasing the in-ear design and retained ear hooks.

Beats previously experimented with a Powerbeats ⁢neckband earphone in ⁢2020, but it was discontinued ‌due to ⁣consumer preference for a completely‌ wireless design.

The ⁤original Powerbeats Pro faced issues with charging, often failing to charge in the ⁣charging case. Hopefully, Beats will address this issue in the sequel. Additionally, the standard for ⁣headphone‌ sound‍ quality has improved significantly‍ since ‌2019, so ‍expect enhancements in this area.
