Get Ready to Groove: Powerbeats Pro 2 Headphones Set to Hit the Market Next Year
Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 Earphones: A Long-Awaited Upgrade
Beats is set to release the Powerbeats Pro 2 earphones in 2025, marking a significant hardware upgrade since the original model’s launch in 2019.
The upcoming earphones were teased in a trailer featuring baseball star Shohei Ohtani, showcasing the in-ear design and retained ear hooks.
Beats previously experimented with a Powerbeats neckband earphone in 2020, but it was discontinued due to consumer preference for a completely wireless design.
The original Powerbeats Pro faced issues with charging, often failing to charge in the charging case. Hopefully, Beats will address this issue in the sequel. Additionally, the standard for headphone sound quality has improved significantly since 2019, so expect enhancements in this area.
Notably, Beats’ parent company Apple is expected to release two new AirPods headphones soon, further expanding the wireless earbuds market.
