BOYNEXTDOOR Announces First Concert Tour “KNOCK ON Vol.1”
The highly anticipated first concert tour of the six-member boy group BOYNEXTDOOR, “BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1′”, has been confirmed. The tour will kick off in Incheon in December 2024 and will visit a total of 13 cities, including Singapore, Manila, Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and six cities in Japan (Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Kanagawa). Further details about the performances will be announced at a later date.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s Rise to Fame
BOYNEXTDOOR made their Korean debut on May 30, 2023, with their first single ”WHO!”. The group’s name, which translates to “the boys next door,” aims to convey a sense of familiarity and closeness to people’s hearts with a natural charm. Their easy-listening track, which sings of feeling pure excitement, confusion, and love for someone for the first time, received high praise and sold 114,420 copies in the first week after its release, making it the number one debut album for new K-POP groups in 2023 at the time.
Just 112 days after their debut, their first EP ”WHY..” made it onto the Billboard 200, the main album chart of the US Billboard. As of January 2024, they have won eight awards, including the Hottest Award at the 2023 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS and the Global Rising Artist Award at the Melon Music Awards 2023. With high expectations from around the world, they made their long-awaited Japanese debut on July 10th this year with their JP 1st Single ”AND,” and appeared on numerous music programs, magazines, and radio shows, as well as at music festivals and events such as SUMMER SONIC 2024 TOKYO, heating up the whole of Japan.

On September 9th, they released their 3rd EP “19.99”, which sold over 750,000 copies in the first week in Korea and on the charts, and also reached No. 1 on the Japanese Oricon Weekly Album and Weekly Combined Album Rankings (as of September 23rd). On April 15, 2024, they released their second EP “HOW?”, which sold 531,911 copies in the first week of release in Korea (calculation period: April 15-21), and ranked first on the Hanteo Chart’s daily album chart for two consecutive days following the first day. In Japan, it also ranked first on the Oricon daily album rankings (as of April 15 and 19, 2024), and first on the Oricon weekly album and combined album rankings (as of April 29).
On July 10th, they made their long-awaited Japanese debut with their JP 1st Single “AND,” which attracted a lot of attention, reaching number one on the Oricon Daily Single Rankings (for July 10th and July 22nd).
