Rockin’ On Sonic Festival Announces Second Round of Artists and Schedule

The highly anticipated Rockin’ On Sonic festival has announced its second round of artists and schedule for the event, taking place on January 4th and 5th, 2025, at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba.

Organized by Rockin’ On, a leading Western rock magazine, and Creativeman, the masterminds behind Japan’s largest urban Western music festival, Summer Sonic, Rockin’ On Sonic promises to deliver a unique musical experience. The festival will feature two stages with non-overlapping performances, allowing fans to catch every act on the lineup.

The latest additions to the lineup include ST.VINCENT, known for his innovative sound and creativity, and JIMMY EAT WORLD, the emo king from Arizona, who will take the stage on Saturday, January 4th. LUVCAT, a promising newcomer from Liverpool, will also perform on the same day. On Sunday, January 5th, Death Cab for Cutie, a band representing the US indie scene, will make their return to Japan after five and a half years.
