When I worked at Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd.’s sales floor development department, I was in charge of VMDs nationwide and learned about displays. I would like to work as a producer of everything related to lifestyle, such as producing spaces for food, clothing, and shelter.
More than 20 years have passed since we set the goal of “I want to convey excitement through food.”
I work as a food coordinator in Kagoshima, a treasure trove of food.
In 2003, he started “star☆sweets”, a mobile store selling handmade bread and baked goods, and runs in-store sales, event stalls, catering, cooking classes, and bread and baked goods classes.
From January 2007, I was in charge of the “Easy! Lenchin Recipe” cooking corner every Tuesday for two years on MBC South Japan Broadcasting’s live information program “Kagoshima 4” (Kagoshima Yoji) (Monday-Friday 15:49-). .
Since January 2019, he has been in charge of the cooking section of the same program every Tuesday for “Easy and delicious food that you want to eat right now” for 6 years, and from October 2024, he has been appearing on the first Friday of “Kagoyon Friday” every Friday.
Additionally, in April of the same year, a “Mom Friend Net Work” was launched to introduce home kitchen techniques.
I am in charge of a corner that delivers important recipes and lifestyle information from mothers working hard in Kagoshima.
In this corner, I have been involved in filming interviews, writing manuscripts, editing videos, and even reporting live broadcasts, and so far I have met over 160 mothers and introduced over 300 recipes.
In May 2020, collaboration breads with major convenience stores, “Gentle condensed milk white bread with coconut-scented cream” and “Mochito Oyama Pizza France,” were sold for a limited time in the Kagoshima and Miyazaki areas. After 4 weeks of sales, it ranked number one in sweet bread sales.
In October 2021, we will be selling three types of Kohashi deli: “Walnut and Raisin Carrot Rape”, “Chicken and Burdock Green Nori Salad”, and “Pumpkin and Sour Cream Deli-style Salad”. In addition, sweets “Sweet Sweet Potato” are also on sale.
In November 2022, a collaboration sweet “Kiricha Terrine Montmon” will be created in collaboration with students from the Life Studies Department at Kagoshima Prefectural Kirishima High School.

In March 2022, he was in charge of food coordination and cooking supervision for NHK Kagoshima’s regional drama “Konohana Sakuya”.

“Tsunagu Gohan” is a product developed in collaboration with companies and includes 3 types of cooked rice using Kagoshima’s rich ingredients.

▼Why we started the project
Since 2003, I have experienced various food jobs such as mobile sales of bread and baked goods, store sales, cooking classes, and catering, and gradually grew as a food coordinator.
Since 2017, I have been in charge of cooking segments on live broadcasts of local TV programs.
In October 2020, we published “Kohashihi Weather – Magical Recipes to Make Your Loved Ones Smile,” which is a collection of easy lentil recipes to enjoy home-cooked meals that had previously been introduced on the program. Even though we are living through the unknown of the coronavirus pandemic, many people have read this book, and it has given me a lot of energy.
Furthermore, I was encouraged and energized by the messages I received from viewers during the live broadcast, and I decided to publish my second book.

For me, the act of “cooking” is a world of mindfulness that allows me to calm my mind and notice the happiness in front of me.
The time spent in the kitchen, the daily preparation of meals brings joy, and smiles bloom at the dining table.
It is my hope that the recipes introduced in this book will connect this chain of food happiness.

How to recruit the desired facility: We will not recruit recipients, but will research and select them ourselves.
Reasons why we are able to appropriately decide on donation destinations: Past donation records: Libraries in Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu Prefecture, etc. that have exceeded the number of locations where the first Kohashi Biyori was donated.
