Get Ready to Serve Up Your Best Game: ASICS Brings ‘TRY! ASICS! TENNIS 2024’ to Tokyo’s Ariake Garden
ASICS Hosts Hands-on Tennis Event at Ariake Garden in Tokyo
ASICS Japan is set to host a three-day tennis experience event, “TRY! ASICS! TENNIS 2024 ~Find your best shoes!~”, from Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th, 2024, at the Sumitomo Real Estate Shopping City Ariake Garden in Tokyo.
The event aims to provide tennis players with an opportunity to understand their strengths and weaknesses and gain insights for improvement through interactive content that measures three essential abilities: speed and agility, power, and coordination. Participants will also receive support in choosing shoes that suit their playing style.
Event Zones
The event features three zones, each designed to test a specific ability:
- Speed & Agility Zone: Participants run with a racket and swing over a sensor, which detects their swing with a non-contact sensor and measures their time.
- Power Zone: Measure the speed of the serve using a speed measuring device.
- Coordination Zone: Participants hit the ball from a tossing machine toward a target of the same color as the illuminated sensor in the center of the net.
Participants can try out the three zones by choosing from models in the three areas offered by ASICS: “Speed,” “Stability,” and “Speed & Stability.” The test is available to anyone aged 13 or older, and no reservation is required. It is also free of charge.
