The match between Al-Ismaili and Ghazal Al-Mahalla, played on the floor of the Ismailia Stadium today, Saturday, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League competition for the 2024-2025 season, resulted in a goalless draw.
The clash started when winger Hossam Greshar Mohalla got a pass behind the defense from Mohamed Hamdi Zaki and fired a missile that went over the crossbar in the seventh minute.
Ismaili striker Khaled Al-Nabrisi fired a shot past the post in the 15th minute of the match.
Marwan Hamdi missed a goal chance for Al-Ismaili in the 17th minute, following a Nader Farag cross with a touch in front of the empty net, but it went wide of the post.
The Ismaili players called for a penalty kick in the 44th minute after a handball on a Ghazal El Mohalla player following a free kick by Marwan Hamdir, but referee Mohammad Maruf ordered play to be restarted after listening to the video technology referees.
