The Making of “Supreme Clientele 2”
The original Supreme Clientele is widely considered a cornerstone of 2000s hip-hop, lauded for its intricate storytelling, soulful production, and Ghostface’s uniquely vivid lyricism. It peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA. The sequel, over two decades in the making, aims to recapture that magic while evolving Ghostface’s sound.
“Everything was just right,” Ghostface told XXL. “I had the beats, I had the concepts, I had the features. The fans expect that.”
