According to preliminary findings, the victim said goodbye to friends on Monday evening, October 13, 2024. Witnesses reported seeing the victim with the now-detained teenager. The suspect allegedly invited the victim to his home, and the victim was discovered deceased shortly thereafter.
Evidence and Investigation
The north Jakarta Metro Police Inafis Team (Forensic Investigation Team) conducted a crime scene investigation (TKP) and found signs of violence on the victim’s body. The body has been transported to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta for a comprehensive post-mortem examination (visum et repertum) to determine the cause of death.
Police have interviewed the victim’s parents and several of his close friends as part of the ongoing investigation. The 16-year-old suspect is being questioned by the PPA Unit.
