Giving telecommunications companies in Mauritania a last chance to improve services until September 22

The ministry said the regulatory authority issued warnings to operators last year, requiring them to comply with quality standards within 30 days.
He added that the National Regulatory Council had identified some shortcomings, which he attributed to the lack of investment by telecommunications companies to improve services, therefore, he decided to give a final opportunity to improve services, stressing that any failure to fulfill the requirements lead to the imposition of severe penalties.”
The Ministry emphasized the government’s commitment to improve the quality of communication services and improve investments to ensure that citizens’ needs are met.
