Residents in several areas of the Al-Jaida Governorate in Giza will‍ experience a six-hour water service interruption beginning⁣ at 12:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2025, and continuing​ until 6:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025.Affected streets⁤ include Zaghloul Street,the al-sisi Canal area,Al-Furn Street,Abdul ⁢hadi Hassan⁢ Street,and Al-Labini Aar.

Infrastructure Improvements Underway

The Giza Drinking ‌Water and Sewerage ​Company has announced the outage is necessary⁢ to facilitate‍ the connection of a new 400mm diameter‌ drinking ‍water‍ line.This connection,taking place at Omar Sharabi Street in the Orman area of the Al-Haram neighborhood,is intended to improve overall water pressure in the region.
